SinoGreen Poultry Inlets – Ventilation in your turkey or chicken house is a science!

SINOGREEN POULTRY INLETS | CEILING INLETS, SIDEWALL INLETS
The SG6321 Insulated poultry inlets have aerodynamic, curved insulated blades that direct attic air along the ceiling for the most efficient air mixing on the market. Its square design promotes precision air movement during minimum ventilation by using a smaller opening, increasing the nozzle effect and air jet throw of the entering air. Design still allows for maximum cfm’s to be achieved in full open position.
Attic air is typically warmer than outside air on cold days. By installing barn inlets, producers can capitalize on solar heat trapped in their attics and ventilate poultry houses more during the day. Average turkey or chicken houses with poultry ceiling inlets are capable of being ventilated 20 percent more than houses without ceiling attic inlets on cold days without experiencing the 20 percent increase in fuel usage that one might expect. In our studies, producers experienced between 10 and 20 percent lower fuel usage compared to houses without ceiling attic inlets. Houses with ceiling attic inlets tend to be less drafty since the air from the attic is warmer than outside air. This means houses will have better moisture control, drier litter, better air quality, and all this adds up to better bird performance.
